One of the largest and most prestigious sports centres in Sydney, Bankstown Sports Club is home to over forty local sports clubs. Used by thousands of people for sports, leisure and recreation, the Club has premium facilities, including some great dining opportunities.

The decision to open a Baskin Robbins Sydney residents could use when they visited the Club provides an additional, highly desirable, food and beverage outlet.

For us, the challenge lay in transforming the existing space into an ice creamery that was both attractive and highly functional.Given the high profile that Bankstown Sports Club has in the local area, we were determined to pull off something spectacular!

Bringing Experience & Talent to The Planning Process

From the outset, it was clear that the proposed location for the Baskin Robbins Sydney customers would be using presented some challenges. Two sides of the site were completely open to the public, whilst one of the remaining sides was curved.

With the fit-out needing to fill over 100 sqm and a tight time-scale of just four weeks, there was obviously a need for some fast, inventive solutions for this one-of-a-kind ice-creamery fit out!

Luckily that’s one of the areas where we always add value. We create customised designs that are geared to the needs of each customer and location.

We start every project by conducting an audit of the proposed site, along with consideration of what resources are available to complete the work. This may include fixtures and fittings from a previous enterprise and/or a proposed budget.

In addition, we consider the constraints which may shape the project. For example, this project specification didn’t come with detailed architectural plans: luckily our team were able to provide appropriate information to fill the gaps.

Once we had listened carefully to what our client and Bankstown Sports Club wanted their ice-creamery fit out to look like, it was time to work our magic.
